MISSIONS PREPARATION:

Amy Medina of A Life Overseas has shared on the importance for missionaries to be prepared before going on the field and five things they should know before they go.

"Let’s say you are boarding a transatlantic flight and hear, 'Good morning, ladies and gentlemen; this is your pilot speaking. I’m 21 years old, and I’m excited to tell you that this is my first commercial flight! But don’t you worry; I’ve flown my Daddy’s crop duster at least a half dozen times. What I don’t have in experience or education, I make up with passion. I’m just about as willing as they come; my heart is practically bursting with willingness! Now buckle up your seatbelts; we’ll be off as soon as I find that user’s manual.'

"I don’t know about you, but I’d be out of that plane faster than a fried egg off a Teflon pan.

"Yet sometimes we approach missions in the same way."

Calvary Missions Resource Connection is a ministry to missionaries and senders. Our primary goal is to provide missionaries with the information and resources they need to enable them to fulfil the ministry God has called them to. In addition, we work to equip pastors and senders with the information they need to support their missionaries as they prepare for the mission field, while they are living overseas, and upon their return to their passport country.
