Syzygy, a British missions support organization, has put together a series of questions and answers on preparing for re-entry to your passport country.

Rocky Re-entry is a blog with "thoughts, encouragement, and resources for those transitioning off the field from those who've been there."

Whole is the blog of former missionary Sarita Hartz. She has a fantastic article about what to expect during re-entry based on her experience of returning to America after serving in Africa.

Velvet Ashes, a website designed to be an encouragement to women serving overseas, has a Returning Home series which provides women planning a international move back to their passport country with weekly emails offering encouragement and advice, resources to help in the transition, and a community in the form of a Facebook group with others going through transition.

31 Days of Re-entry is a series of blog posts that walk through the process of re-entry for the author after serving for five years in China. The Day 27 post includes a listing of resources on re-entry.

"Coming Back Home" is an article by Pauline Wilson about her return to her home in Northern Ireland after spending 17 years in ministry in Switzerland.

There are also articles on dealing with the logistics of returning to one's home country after time abroad and lists of additional books, articles, and videos about re-entry.

Helen Watts offers a course aimed at preparing anyone who is returning to their passport country after living overseas. It is a mixture of videos and worksheets to help the participant finish well and settle back into their home country.

Missions   Resource  Connection

Calvary Missions Resource Connection is a ministry to missionaries and senders. Our primary goal is to provide missionaries with the information and resources that they need to enable them to fulfill the ministry God has called them to. In addition we work to equip pastors and senders with the information they need to support their missionaries as they prepare for the mission field, while they are living overseas, and upon their return to America.

While our primary focus is to missionaries and senders within the Calvary Chapel movement of churches, we welcome all to glean from this collection of missions resources.
